Four Great Rides in the Beautiful Snoqualmie Valley
ALL FOUR RIDES START AND END AT THE FESTIVAL SITE, and take you through the spectacular scenery of the
Snoqualmie Valley with fantastic mountain and valley views. After registration, head over to the Mt. Si Senior Center
two blocks away for an optional pancake breakfast sponsored by the Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis.
For the kids, choose the very flat and easy
6-mile Family Route that takes you and your children on a country
road with fantastic mountain views. There is one water stop at the halfway point. Follow the
BLUE Dan Henry markings located in the road.
If you are a recreational rider and just want to enjoy some beautiful scenery before heading over to the
Festival at Mount Si activities, the
Intermediate 20 Mile is designed for you. The intermediate has a
10 Mile option.
Follow the
GREEN Dan Henry markings located in the road. This route takes you to downtown Snoqualmie, then along scenic
Reinig Road, where the rider can either choose to head back to North Bend, thereby cutting their mileage in half, or continuing
to Ernie’s Grove and Moon Valley, then back to the festival site in North Bend for a total of 20 miles. There are 2 checkpoints
along the way to keep you fed, hydrated and rested.
For a ride that’s a little more challenging, take the
Half Century 30 Mile, which has the great Tokul Road Hill and Lake
Dorothy Road Hill thrown in for good measure. Follow the
YELLOW Dan Henry markings located in the road. There are 2 checkpoints
along the way and the option to ride to Moon Valley, which adds an additional 5 miles. Your elevation gain is about 300’ going up Tokul Rd..
For the truly adventurous long distance rider, take the
Century 70 Mile all the way to the lower Snoqualmie Valley, including
Carnation and Fall City, then back to the Upper Valley via the Snoqualmie Falls Hill, Tokul Road Hill and Lake Dorothy Road Hill.
Follow the
WHITE Dan Henry markings located in the road. There are 4 checkpoints along the way, with the opportunity to stop twice
at two of them in the lower valley. Elevations gains of 300’are at each of the hills.
All routes finish at the Festival at Mount Si, where hungry and thirsty riders can select from many different food vendors and
visit the Rotary Beer Garden. These are fully-supported rides with plenty of water and rest stops. Quick bike checks are
available at the start point and at the major checkpoints, along with friendly valley volunteers to answer your questions.
Maps are provided at check-in and at all the checkpoint stations.
There will be great photo opportunities, and Christy Trotto Photography will be posting all pictures on her website within a
week after the ride and they will be available to purchase if you like them. Be sure to wear your rider number on the
front of your shirt for easier identification, ride single file, and follow the
COLOR-COORDINATED DAN HENRY MARKINGS located in the roadways.
